| Mountain View Train Station - winter 2026 |
This project is executed in conjuction with the VTA (Valley Transit Authority) and the City of Mountain View.
The Mountain View Train Station was rebuilt in 1999 as an exact replica of the original station built in 1888. This mural project aims to visually capture the rich and evolving history of Mountain View. Because the building features wood siding, painting directly onto the surface wasn't feasible. Instead, we chose to design a series of mural panels and install them around the exterior of the building. Click here for more information on each panel
John Patrick Thomas was chosen as the mural artist.
